Spring ice out is a great time to put the boat in for a day of trolling for landlocked salmon or maybe a touge.

As the water recedes & the brooks slow down from the spring run off, some of the first fishing is the brook trout. A day of walking along in the Maine woods, following a babbling brook, is a day well spent.

River fishing for rainbow, or brown trout is a great way to spend a day on one of the beautiful rivers in our area. Drifting along with a fly rod, while searching for that elesuve trout just doesn't get any better.
