MOOSE:
For those lucky enough to draw a permit for a Maine moose hunt, we have some of the best hunting areas in the state. With a high population of moose, the big game hunt of a lifetime is yours for the taking. We have never sent a hunter home without a moose. The bulls we hunt are the biggest in the area, as we are keeping tabs on them as we prusue other activities in our hunting zones. As the season comes closer and the rut starts, the moose become more active and we are able to locate the animals we want to harvest. The hunt is a combination of stalking and calling.
Once we arrive at the spot we want to hunt, we then start calling to locate the moose. We will get as close as possible and try and call them out for a shot, if luck is with us, the bull will respond and present a shot for our sport.
