Snowmobiling in Maine is as good as it gets. With trail groomers out keeping the hundreds of miles of trails in top shape, your day or week of snowmobiling is sure to be a pleasure. A day of sledding can take you to some of the most beautiful views in the Western Mountains of Maine.
Another exciting part of your day may include watching some of Maines wildlife. Possibly running your sled within yards of a moose or white tail deer, or watching a coyote running the trail ahead of you. Whatever you're out there for, you are sure to have a great time on Maines I.T.S. trails.
Our lodge is located on I.T.S. 84 in New Portland. You can ride to Rangley Lake, Sugarloaf Ski Resort, Moosehead Lake area, or Baxter State Park, the choice is yours.
Our lodge can sleep 12 people and has water & eletricity, a wood burning furnace for radiant heated floors and a propane heater are also in place. Once you arrive and unload, there is no need to trailer your sled anywhere. The trail crosses the end of our driveway. Just unload and go!
